Apparently Lakota Sioux have seceded from the United States.

As we move forward with the semester we’ll see that the issue of indigenous rights remains a crucial issue not only in the United States but globally. The UN recently adopted the declaration of the rights of indigenous people.

I hope and pray for the Lakotah to gain in strength and endurance. I pray your freedom is acknowledged and understood by everyone who still remain here. I am part Mohawk and have the wedding moccosins wrapped in otter skin as they have been since that time. I had a vision at a pow wow and use the name, dancingcrow because of that vision. I hope to one day go to your land and see it for myself. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I beleive in you.
